DESIGNER
A self-briefed poster design smack down coming out of the Starbucks Global Creative Studio, the fabulous
Jeff Barlow and myself found ourselves with some rare spare time one morning and cooked this up in about an
hour before the submission deadline. The idea was a series of posters centered about the concept
ANIMAL | VEGETABLE | MINERAL. Barlow provided the Chicken, beet and anvil idea, and I took on laying it out using
my best minimalism typography instincts. A firm believer in sometimes, the first thing out of your brain
is the winner, this poster was featured prominently in PRINT’s 2012 Regional Design Annual.
